I have sent out pledge reminders to four members who have not paid their pledges to date. The outstanding amount is L$11,500. A pledge analysis report will also be discussed at this meeting.

Discussion: Over the years, mean, median, and total have been rising. Only declining factor is number of pledges – from a peak of 36 in 2008 to 18 this year. If we could increase pledging membership, our financial picture would be very rosy.
- Sofia suggested that she ask at services for people who want to pledge, rather than vote as a member.
UUtopia Report – Zyzzy
- While negotiating with Peter for discounts, I calculated what a parcel actually costs, considering both Alcott and UUtopia, and their commons area. The result is US$6.94 per 1024.
- Alcott has 40 x 1024s
- UUtopia has 45 x 1024s
- Total is 85 x 1024s
- Regions cost US$295/month
- 590 / 85 = 6.94
- This does not include amortization of the original purchase amount.
- I have to wonder if people are just comparing the rental prices and not considering the commons area. If there was no Alcott commons, the cost would be US$5.41 x 1024
- Thisbee moved out, saying that she was spending more time in another region, and the rent was cheaper there.
- dav0 suggested having something like bricks that people can buy and have something written on them, for a walkway, as a means to get more income.
Outreach – Et
- Tee has contacted Andy Pakula, and he may be joining us at some point. I’m also trying to connect more with Meg Riley, who is interested in using SL with CLF.
- Still pursuing a parish minister to send us a letter agreeing we are good for the UU movement, the last step in getting Affiliated Organization status.
Library Report – Bel
- Bel ran a college tour about 6 weeks ago.
- The 1st day was uneventful
- The 2nd day there was a meeting at Peter’s, which was very successful.
Worship Report- Tee
- Tee asked for service leaders at the beginning of the month
- Response was great! Several people volunteered
- Attendance has been 10-12 each time, which is lower than it had been
- list in SL events
December Service – Tee
- We need to experiment with audio & streaming. Possibly try singing together.
Google Chat or Group – Zyzzy
- Z will make a Google group for FUUCSL LG and add the LG people to it.
Interfaith Prayer Circle – Peter
- Suggests inviting Desirée Jacques to host them at the Library of World Religions meeting area.
New Business
- A discussion ensued about having a Halloween party.
- We decided to have the next service be in costume.
