*On September 14, I sent out reminders for unpaid pledges amounting to L130K. To date I have received L$50K in response.
**This is smaller than noted in previous months (L$368K)– I received some corrected pledges in response to reminders. However, my projection is that if we receive 300K in pledge income, we will have no deficit this year.
UUtopia Report – Zyzzy
- No change in the past month.
Outreach – Et
- CLF now using an improved Livestream feed for their Sunday/Monday service. It will display in the sanctuary object with few problems. What is new is that every session has a different URL so I‘m working on some programming to be able to handle this. I’ll focus on handling Sunday; I don’t think we have people watching the Monday service. Details at including the video stream from the online service (it seems the chat is not kept in a place we can get to). One of our old FUUCSL folks is the CLF’s IT support person.
- Slightly different news: Project Sansar is a really different platform, focused on being a platform for quick integration using VR headsets. LL will continue to run SL as a separate environment. When we learn more we can plan more.
Library Report – Peter
- Nothing this month.
Worship Report- Tee
- Thank you to Et, Zyzzy, Tee and (who else led this month?) for leading services.
- Ori is scheduled for 9/24. Thank you!
- Tim is working on his Burning Man presentation…hopefully for 10/1 or 10/8 depending on RL.
- Thank you to Z for purchasing new music for our service. It is one the first page in the music pyramid. Tee will transcribe the lyrics and share when she gets some time.
- Please prepare a weekly announcement a few sentences long of whatever you are working on for the beginning of the service.
- Depending on my schedule with my family (we tend to celebrate when everyone can get together) Tee will lead Thanksgiving night. Christmas Eve tbd.
Misc.
- Tee started organizing everything into one Google Folder. Will be shared when tidied up.
- Tee resumed work on the annual spreadsheet and the annual report updates.
New Business
Website renovation and updates – Zyzzy
- Z removed the LG Minutes from the front page.
- Z encouraged LG members to get accounts and post blog entries about FUUCSL and what we’re doing here
November-December Leadership group meeting for 12/10/15?
- Moved to move the November and December meetings to one meeting on Dec 10. Approved and passed.
Halloween Party
- Bel announced that she’s setting up the Party Platform for a Halloween Party.
- Z offered to run the music
- Tim offered to DJ
- Bel wants help with publicity
- We’ll do this on Thurs. Oct 29
- Bel encourages everyone to contribute
